What is the difference between a dance company and dance studio?
Orbit Dance Company offers performance based training for all ages. Students train weekly in multiple styles, learning routines designed to balance their training. Dancers perform at least 6 times a year (without paying expensive recital fees or ticket prices!)
Traditional studios have shorter classes to choose by style (ei: ballet, contemporary, hip hop) and 1-2 recitals a year. This training is more style specific and less performance heavy. Costs can add up quickly, with recitals/ pictures/ tickets/ costumes/ competition fees/ registration fees.
There are great benefits to both training methods!

When Can I Join?
Year round! We do not close enrollment, though the routines your child can perform depend on when they join. Major enrollment times are June, September and January.
What Ages Perform?
Every company member is eligible to perform, even the petite company! Choreography is age appropriate and specifically designed for each groups cognitive and physical capabilities.
Can I Try A Class Before Paying?
Yes! We offer one free trial per dancer. All dancers must have an account and waiver on file before trying a class. You can register below.
Are there really no hidden fees?
We do our best to fundraise for all costumes and fees that are traditionally expected by dance companies. If an event is not covered by fundraising, the event is optional!
Recitals will always have free admission. Donations are gladly accepted, to help us buy more costumes and props for upcoming performances!
Dancers must purchase their own dance shoes, tights, and makeup for performances.
What If My Child Has Never Danced?
We welcome beginners of all ages! Dance is for everybody, and we love to see students try something new.
